Smith Wesson "Marcas Registradas"
Does somebody knows why is wrote in almost all Smith & Wesson guns the words: "Marcas Registradas" in Spanish.
"Registered" or "TradeMark" in english sounds correct. Just a little doubt since long time. Thank you for any answer.

Well, the RUMOR- totally unsubstantiated, mind you, involved Frank Wesson, and this lady named Rosita...
Sorry, could not resist. Word was the S&W had problems with a lot of the cheap Spanish imitations of their product, and went thru some legalities in Spanish courts to register their trademark to stop folks from putting "S&W" on the imitations. But if anyone knows a better answer, I'm listening.
