    I have a marlin 25n in like new condition. How much should I ask for it? I'm in N.C. if it matters.

    The current market price of common guns can be found by going to the Gunbroker home page & clicking on the SmartSearch link. You then enter the search criteria, & look at COMPLETED AUCTIONS for the prices actually bid, not asked.

    Of course, you have to spell the name in your search criteria correctly. (It's "Armscorp".)

    Armscorp M14-clones tend to sell for more if the entire rifle was assembled by Armscorp (proof would be original box &/or sales receipt). The company also sold receivers which were assembled into complete rifles for folks with varying levels of skill. (A high level of skill IS required, as their receivers sometimes are way out of spec.)

    Neal, I have done that before posting this thread. There is only one that is up for auction and has an starting bid of $200 and an buy it now for $1500.00. Does not look good for this M14, but will watch it to see how much it will go for.

    Spec 4, I don't think that you read my post carefully. Please read it again. You need to look at completed auctions, not current auctions.

    I don't know how close they are to yours, as you omitted important details such as pre or post ban, USGI parts, who assembled it, etc.

    Thanks Neal, I misread your post. Sorry about that. I will try to not let it happen again. The rifle is an pre-ban do the flash comproser and bayonet lug. The 2nd one is almost like mine, but I do not have an GI walnut stock, I have an Boyd walnut stock, and the receiver is in better condition. So I guest I say around $1250 with the extra magazines that I have. Been thinking of getting it repark, but don't know yet. Not bad for an $550 rifle.[:D]
