Super Vel .38 Special Ammo
I had the range open today, and a retiree showed up to shoot. He said he had some "old ammo" he wanted to shoot up. He hauled out an old yellow and red box of Super Vel 110 grain JHP .38 Specials. Full box. Good shape.
I said, "You're not going to shoot those, are you?"
He said, "Yeah, why not?"
I told him I thought they were semi-collectible, since Super Vel is no longer around, and that company pioneered development of high performance handgun ammunition.
He had some other ammo to shoot, so he gave me the box of Super Vels.
Was I right? Are they collectible? Are they valuable?
The only other Super Vels I have are enough .38 Supers to fill one Colt magazine, and I ain't shooting them, either.

Hello NUNN I have both loaded ammo and MANY boxes of just the bullets of SUPER VEL. I will be glad to sell, I to have never though they might be collectable. 0 -

We used to shoot stoves and refridgerators with them and Heck yeah theyre collectable.
