I can't answer your question in particular, but I certainly can in general...
Chinese products like almost everything else run the gamut between junk and quality. I haven't a clue where your shotgun might lie. Then again, neither do you.
So let me understand... An unknown product from an unknown maker and you're asking about if it might be used for personal defense? You'd be willing to put your life in trust to an unknown quantity because of an attractive price tag? Wow!
With so many 870's and M-37's out there (And don't forget the Mossberg line), why would you look at an unknown? Each one of these domestics even in used condition is a known quantity. I wouldn't want to place my life in question for the few dollars difference.

Its a funny world. I remember when Norinco used to be synonymous with low quality. Now, the SAME maker with their AK, commands a 1000 plus per gun. The SKS's are preferred. Personally, I would opt for a known quality shotgun over a more affordable Chinese one.

It's like Nord said - it could be great or it could be garbage.
If it's for fun, by all means get it if you can afford it.
If it's for home defense, get a known quantity like Remington or Mossberg. Even Benelli Novas can be had for a song.0 -
The shotgun is made by Norinco,I've heard they are the largest manufacture of guns in the world.I believe the Tiger is a copy of the Ithaca model 37, a good copy with cheap wood?[:)]

A club member has both an original Winchester 97 and a Chinese copy
that he uses for Cowboy Competition.
He says the Chinese copy is smoother and the better gun.0 -
