Colt Python Elite

Can anyone give me a value for a 4 year old Python Elite .357 with a 6" bbl.???
I have contacted local dealers, and have gotten varying prices. The gun is in "like new" condition.

  I have a Colt Python Elite 4" stainless steel in almost new condition in the box with the manual, 99% just a very light line on the cylinder. I'm considering listing it on GB and have heard an seen conflicting values. Which leads me to a few questions, #1 Are thes becoming pretty hard to find? #2 Are they still available from Colt? and #3 what is the actual value?

  Colt is not making any Pythons. None Zero Zilch [:(]
  In this case, your gun is worth more. Since Pythons aren't rare, the price will depend on who is buying and the local market. Unless you are intent on selling, my advice would be to hold on to it. Otherwise, figure $800 to about $1000 at the moment.
