Kolar Arms gauge reducer---
I have been looking for gauge reducers (12 to 20 ga.) for my 12 gauge Win. 101. I found these locally but know nothing about them. I went into their web-site but could not find the specific info. that I am looking for.
These tubes are marked 'over' and 'under'.
There is the same number '264' under a 'U'(under) on one tube and a 'O'(over) on the other. Does that mean that these tubes were fitted to a specific shotgun and specifically the over barrel and the under barrel with the last three of the serial number being 264? If not, what does the number signify? Will they fit my 101, if they were say, made for a Browning(maybe with a back-bored barrel)? If so, are these tubes worthless to anyone other than to the person with the shotgun that these tubes were fit for? What is the approx. value? Should I get them and try to trade them for a set that will fit my 101, or by-pass them?
The ends of each tube has a label marked 'skt' and the ends have a slot that seems to be for a choke tube wrench. Are the choke tubes replaceable and if so, where can I get more chokes? The chokes are so tight,(if they are replaceable)that I don't want to try and force them out if they are not replaceable and do major damage to the tubes.
I think I have covered everything, but if not, more questions will follow. Thanks for all replies.

The only thing I can tell you is that Kolar guns are VERY high quality custom made shotguns that start at $10,000. They are right up there with Kreighoff. A guy I shoot trap with had one made for him. He had to go to the factory to get measured, just as if he were buying a suit. If I had to guess, I would say the tubes were custom made for a specific gun, but that is just a guess.

Thanks, Mooseyard. This is just as I suspected. How these tubes got seperated from the Shotgun, I have no idea. If I had paid for a custom shotgun, I would surely keep it all together.
I was just hoping they might fit another shotgun, but don't want to pay a heavy price just to find out that they will not.

Peabo: Yes the sub gauge tube are made for a specific gun and that is why they are marked "over" and "under".
When you have sub guage tubes made for your gun you have to send the entire gun to Kolar (there are other makers of sub guage tubes) for the fitting. Barrel size, extractors and other things have to be just right for the tubes to work.
