Proof Mark Pillsbury Dough Boy?
Good Afternoon Capt and fellow GB's- I know this is a rather old piece. I have a very small palm revolver. The only marking on it (which is very very small ) appears to be a round person in a peacoat with a navy cap with maybe a pipe in his mouth - he is inside a circle. Reminds me of the pillsbury doughboy. Any thoughts? - Thanks Iowa

My thought is: you need to borrow a digital camera. And, maybe see if a .22 round fits in it.

I agree with nmyers, you are going to need to post some photos, flesh out the description with number of cartridges the cylinder holds, figure out the caliber if not the cartridge. Great little mystery! 0 -
Went thru my Copies of Proof Marks and Gun Marks and Makers...Can't find anything that even comes close to the discription given.........Peacoat, Pipe, Sailor Hat...Almost sounds Like Popeye, minus the can of Spinich....But he's not Big and Round...or he wasn't 40 years ago...but then neither was I....Lets get a Photo of this Pea Shooter....You have my interest complete and undivided....
