WHERE CAN I FIND RELOADING SUPPLIES FOR WIN 351?

I AM LOOKING FOR DIES AND BULLETS FOR RELOADING THE WINCHESTER 351. CAN ANYONE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION?

Jay, the dies are readily available from RCBS and other makers.

The components have always been the difficulty with this one. I saw some new brass at a gun show Saturday (don't recall the name - DOH!), so someone has produced them relatively recently. This was one of the custom shops / smaller producers. Bertram made the brass, but I've not been impressed w/ their quality and my experience seems to have been shared by others. Bullets . . . I know some folks have swaged down larger diameter bullets - JSP .357-.358" seem to be the favorite raw material and Lyman used to produce a now-discontinued mold for cast bullets (good luck in finding this used!).

One would think some custom maker would make a run of .351 / .401 components for those old Winchesters; there certainly is a market for them!

Try Conley Precision Cartridge

or Quality Cartridge

Do a search for 'custom cartridge reloading" and see what that turns up.

IIRC, Quality cartridge www.qualcart.com ?? has it.
If needed, and it is a pain, you could swedge .357 bullets down to .351 (again IIRC, they were loaded with 180gr bullets from the factory)

Some guys like a mag full of lead, I still prefer one round to the head.

OWS is gone. OK, I guess nononsense found them. Last I heard was that dave had liquidated everything to Sarco. I bought some of OWS's old stuff through them.

I was about to post that I thought the OWS had gone out of business since I couldn't get a response from them and the website was down.

But the good news is that they have moved once again, this time to West Virginia and they are open but bogged down with settling in.
