Help ID a Spanish/French 7.65 semi auto pistol

I have a Spanish (hold for the French part).32 semi-auto pistol that is marked PISTOLA AUTOMATICA CALIBRE 7.62 GARATE ANITUA & CIAEIBAR (Espana). I wasn't shouting, they used almost all caps in their name I.D. The serial number is 39057 (matching) with FEU stamped near the left side safety. There is also a G.N. stamped on the receiver just below the bottom edge of the slide at the backstrap This G.N. is also stamped on the matching magazine and both G.N.s reside in an oval stamped to encircle them. There is a lanyard ring on the left side at the bottom of the grip with the checkered grip carved to allow room. To me this pistol looks like a John Browning ripoff. But it seems well made and pretty slick! In takedown you have to lock the slide back and then rotate the barrel for disassembly. The barrel has a "chin" to help accurize it in the slide. Much like a conical barrel does.
OK...the French stuff is weak. All the "helpful" handlers (non-buyers) at the gun show look over your table and offer their wisdom. I was told that the G.N meant this gun was made in Spain and used by the French....probably in all of the war victories!

No....You're right! Its a RUBY Type Pistol...The Spanish made these Guns for the French to help fill in for the Lost of production of Pistols for Officers during the 1st World War....The Book "The History of "Spanish Pistols and Revolvers" by Gene Gangarosa has photos and History....You should be able to get it at Your local Libruary...It takes a long and indepth look at the RUBY Type Guns...
