Model 70 Cocking Explanation

Can someone give me a detailed explanation of what does what to cock a Model 70.

  The bolt has a ramp that wraps a quarter turn around the bolt at its' rear. The striker (firing pin) has a tang that hangs down in its' rear. It rides on the ramp and is cammed rearward as you open the bolt.
  As the bolt handle is lifted, the bolt body rotates 1/4 turn. The striker tang is trapped by a slot in the receiver bottom and can't rotate with the bolt. It can only travel fore and aft. The ramp on the bolt cams the striker rearward where it overrides the spring loaded trigger sear. The sear then pops back up to prevent the striker from returning forward as the bolt handle is returned to the closed position.
  When you lift the bolt handle and retract the bolt, the the striker tang will leave the receiver slot. To provide that the striker remains in the cocked position and not rotate back down the ramp, the striker is cammed beyond the ramp to a flat surface, perpendicular to the bolt centerline.
  As you push the bolt forward and close the bolt, the striker tang is cammed off the flat surface simultaneously with the bolt lugs engaging the receiver and the striker tang hanging up on the sear, cocking the striker.
