Riflescope Rings?

I am very sorry to ask such a stupid question but will the Burris Signature Series Rings fit the Leupold STD bases, with the single dovetail, better than the Burris brand bases. Or will they fit the Leupolds at all. Any help would be appriciated.

    They should interchange no problem.

    NEVER be sorry about asking a question on this forum, ever..........

    The Signature rings will fit any of the Redfield, Leupold, or Burris style STD bases, without a problem.

    I prefer the double dovetail set over the one dovetail and one windage adjustable ones, but thats just me........

    Thanks for the info, I just know how everybody is knowledgable in the firearms field and didn't want to sound inexperienced.

    We were all "inexperienced" at one time. The only way to learn is to ask questions.
    If you don't have the different bases and rings to try them, how are you supposed to know if they will fit? ASK THE QUESTION!!

    Let me ask this then, Will the Burris Signature rings in medium rise along with leupold bases be high enough to accomidate a nikon 6.5-20x with the objective being a 44mm?

    It should, but the taper of the barrel will have some impact. The Burris web site has good helpful info on scope clerances. Midway USA has good stock on Burris rings.

    P.S. I learned about Burris Signature rings here on this Forum, I love them. the Members are VERY helpful in learning about the multitude of products available to shooters.
