Remington Model 78?

Anyone ever hear of one of these guns? I saw one at a gunshop, chambered in .30-06. Looked like a 700.

  Bill:
  Remington made them for a while back in the 80's.
  A very plain hardwood stock minus any checkering if my memory serves me well.
  All of the 700's parts will interchange with them.
  Not a bad rifle if the price was right...
