I would like to know the selling value of my Remington Model 742 30.6 rifle with checkard stock, with a military peep. It also has a 3X9 variable Redfield scope. The only think it needs is blueing.

    When was it made and Any Idea as to its worth ?
    I looked on Website But Cannot find one like it.

    if this is a regular 788 with an extra barrel and an extra clip that has to be installed and headspaced by a gun smith then you might figure 350 for the rifle , 40 for the extra barrel and 20 for the extra clip...if it is an actual switch barrel gun the has been done to be asthetically appealling and with little fuss by the owner, that would be a whole different scenario...you need to post pictures as a minmal, and give details, if know, as to who did the work ...goodluck
