bar disassembly difference mk1 vs mk11

hello;

yesterday i purchased a browning bar mk1 made in 1988, per serial number. the owners manual browning has on line is for the mk11. there is a difference. example, removal of the trigger group in mk11 but the instructions do not fit the mk1. what i'm trying to do is clean the gas system. is the mk1 and mk11 gas system the same. if they are the same, then i can use the instructions browning has in their on-line manual. thanks for any input.

    the gas systems are SIMILAR, the orig. bar (there is no mk 1) has a longer gas piston with a slot that must mate with a roll pin in the block on the under side of the barrel this keeps the bleed off hole and the slot in the piston alined. to remove the trigger assy. you must first remove the butt stock, flip the plate the stock bolt scerws into 90 deg. and slide it forward, depress the hammer (stick your finger into the action from the mag. well) and slide the trigger assy off the receiver.
