Value Colt 1st production Magnum Carry .357 Snubby

Howdy guys and girls. i have enjoyed buying and selling on gunbroker for yrs but just registered for the forum. i have a magnum carry snub nose .357. its locked away and will be work to get to so i cant look to what is correct. i have always thought it was a "1st production" but there is another guy with one and has it listed as "1st edition", what is correct?. Also, what would be its value to a collector, new, with matching custom shop box and unfired. the other gun listed is $1899, i think. a buddy of mine says fancy pythons are rediculous and im thinking the limited number of these makes it worth rediculous times 5. ive made money on some, ive given away some but im wanting max dollar for this one. thanks for any thoughts.
