iver johnson slide action .22 rifle

i have a nib ew .22 hbp rifle, ser #00008 and know nothing about it. does anyone out there have any background on this rifle? thanks in advance.

this rifle was called the targetmaster and was imported from erma werkes about 1984 to 1986. the new henry arms co. manufactures this gun in the u.s.a. now. when iver johnson imported them they did not prove very popular and sales of their lever action model were much higher. the lever action and pump action are basicaly the same interally.

these have value only as a shooter. only an advanced iver johnson collector would consider paying a premium for a low serial number. i sold the one i had for $200 several years ago because i considered it too modern for my collection. check the auction site here and others they show up every once in a while.
