CZ-52 Accuracy
I bought a CZ-52 a while back and took it out to shoot it today. I didn't expect much from a $100 gun, but I thought it would be better than what I got from it today. It shoots quite low, and it's rather erratic left and right. Anybody out there know of some simple ways to improve the accuracy on this? I was using milsurp ammo.

I have several of these pistols & its been my experience that practice does more good than all the new ammo in China.jmnsho

Drinking when we aren't thirsty is one of the things that seperate us from the beasts0 -
One of mine shot about 2 inches low at 15 paces, but adjusting my 'hold' got 1 in the red on the first mag. I was VERY surprized !
I had shot it a bit in my bullet trap at home after a deep cleaning and re-assembly, then took it to an indoor range that is close to home. I assume you did give a deep cleaning to get all the gook out.
The second clip grouped about 1.5 - 2 inch, with a flier (my bad) now and then, shooting off-hand. The ammo was S&B if that helps. I am happy with both of mine. The one I mentioned is an arsenal refurb.. I think...I suppose it is b'cause it looks new...with gray/green park finish.
I have another that looks almost 'white', and has seen a good bit of use. It does group well enough though...you just have to get used to that long thin grip. ENJOY
The things I like most is a decock on a gun that old,
and 'breaking it down' in 1.5 seconds when you show it off.
For the money I paid, I 'stole' one and got a 'great deal' on another. (EDIT...I LIKE the decock on the older gun ...foreward thinking maybe ? .. I LIKE it, I don't USE it much though)
I'll be looking at this accuracy thing...mine are O.K. for me, but you never know what will come along later.

I have an arsenal refinished one too and its actually one of my best shooters those old military sights can take some getting used too, just keep practicing and watch your grip cause the grip is HUGE
