Ruger Security Six - scope mounts

[8D]Help! I love my Security Six and will never part with it. My poor old eyes are aging poorly (age + diabetes). I want to mount a reasonably priced/good quality Red Dot sight. Can't get a feel for mounting gear, drilling & tapping, etc. Anyone had any exerience or realiable hearsay on this? Will apreciate any info offered.

    Think You need a weaver 304 base. Just remove rear sight and install it.
    1 shot is all ya get so make it a " SUREKILL " (T/C Encore-/-Contender/ MATHEWS SWITCHBACK Shooter)

    [:p]Thanks for the input,folks. Hate to admit I didn't know (or forgot) Ruger had a forum. I've been a little out of the loop with health problems this last year, haven't even kept up with my favorite forums, Gunbroker and Reloading Bench. Feelin' better and hope to get out blasting again now that summer is over (Arizona). Thanks much!
