National Firearms Co

My grandfather gave me a pump action shotgun a few years back. the only info on it is the manufacturer and serial number.
National Firearms Co serial#4691. I am trying to find out if it is worth anything or not. He died last year so I can't find out where he aquired it. The only thing I was able to find out about National Firearms co is that crescent arms and marlin used to use that name on their weapons. any help about this weapon would be helpful

    Mt Database says the the NATIONAL FIREARMS CO., was also a Trade name used by Hopkins and Allen...Circa 1900....

    National Firearms was also a hardware Co. in Ohio I believe, that sold Marlin pump guns in the early part of the last century,I have seen a few and they are Marlin from end to end.

    I have a National Firearms Co. twenty two pump and it is an exact copy of the Model 18 Marlin.
