Shortage of 7.62 x 39 mm?
Excuse me for sounding like an alarmist, but for a month I can't find Wolf/Bear/Golden Tiger/FMJ or HP ammo in bulk (200,500 rounds)anywhere online where it it not listed "Out of Stock" or "Back Ordered"
I've tried Ammonman(has czech/yugo ammo, not interested), Cabella's, and Cheaper than Dirt. Hope this is a temporary dry spell that comes and goes, and not a harbinger of something bad......

Aimsurplus.com has Golden bear for 59.99 per 500. Same stuff as wolf for all practical purpose.
I think the "shortage" was created when someone let out the word that the Russians were going to raise their prices. Everyone flocked to the market to get some before they had to pay more; if the rumor was true or not we will not know until the next container loads come in.

5.45x39 can be found at sportsmans guide, if you like steel cased ammo. I bought 1000 rnds of 7.62, in battle packs last week, can'tsay where cause im not done buying, 159.00 + the dreaded shipping. 0 -

they only have the 5.45 HP, and im looking for the FMJ, it is suppose to feed better.,.actuall there out of that too,. back order or something when you try to check out.
and yes i love steel cased ammo,.. my gun locker looks like the baskin f-ing robins of AK's,..
i even pawned off my ar-15 to buy a AK in .223 just so i can have one in every caliber,..well almost,..no .308 yet

Sportsman's warehouse has ammo of all sorts, no shortages, and it's only 1/2 mile from my bunker. Subtract shipping from my orders from now on!
