HI, I'M GOING TO SELL A M1A1 THOMPSON FOR A FRIEND, I'VE BEEN OFFERED $600 AS IS AND TOLD I'LL GET $1200 IF I WELD IT UP, SO THE GENERAL PUBLIC CAN BUY IT.I KNOW IT SOUNDS WRONG BUT THE NON SHOOTERS WILL PAY MORE??

Welding a perfectly working gun to make it a non-shooter for a little bit more $ is a crime. I have saved several guns from being destroyed with a little TLC. The only reason a gun should be destroyed is if it is defective or was used in a violent crime.
