Semi auto shotgun 3 1/2 inch?

I`ve got a remington 1187 super mag or is that super jam ? Anyway,I`m looking for a different semi auto that actually will cycle a 3 1/2 mag.Anyone have a recomendation?

    I used to have a shotgun for each purpose, over the years I slowly used the Benelli for more and more and I have since sold all other shotguns except a .410 for the wife. It is simply the best out there and is a snap to clean, fairly light weight for what it shoots, and is reliable. Just make sure you shoot 1 1/8 oz. or greater loads (el-cheapo loads are fine).

    i have a super x-2 and never had any cycling problems out of it. i have used 2&3/4 light target loads through it with no problems. the owners manual said the shorter target loads might not cycl very good at to the heavyer springs for the 3 &1/2 shells. ive had mine for about 8 years now. just keep it clean and oiled.

    My 1187 supermag works just great...If I was to get a diff 1 go with the BSBE
    1 shot is all ya get so make it a " SUREKILL " (T/C Encore-/-Contender/ MATHEWS SWITCHBACK Shooter)

    I`d like a Benelli,but they area bit expensive. Does anyone know if the Franchi 912 is any good? If not I guess I`ll have to sell some toys and go with Benelli.

    Well if you want cheap you could check into the EAA Baikal MP 153 series. They are going relatively cheap right now on various closeouts and will cycle anything from 2 3/4 - 3/1/2 inch shells. However if one has the money for a Benelli I figure why not. Myself I have never had the need for a 3 1/2 chambered gun. I like the feel of the more specialized guns. I have 3 inch guns that I only shoot 3's in and 2 3/4 that I only shoot 2 3/4 in. I have had an all in one gun and found that they just dont have the balance, feel, and sometimes the reliability of the others.


    Anyone ever feel the same

    I.E. I like the Remington 1100 over the 11-87, Browning Light 12 over the magnum..and so on.
