Too much for CZ52? Unissued ones out there?

A local gun dealer has what looks like brand new CZ 52s for sale at $148.00. I see them way cheaper all over the place online so I'm curious if there really are unissued ones out there. If so this may not be such a bad deal. I asked if was the factory refurbs I've seen online but he said that they were sold to him from his distributor as "New".

What do you think?

    There are some refurbs that were refurbished very well, and you must really look to see if it really is un-issued . I've gotten a few, and one that was not issued. There were NO operational markings on interior faces that will show up...even if an attempt is make to conceal it.

    Thinking back, I should have separated the un-issued one, because it has had about 100 rounds through it now. I did not think there was much collector value, and I only have a couple of collector pieces...I'm a shooter guy.

    ANYWAY, My pieces range from a 'gray/green parkerized' LNIB to a well used piece that looks like it is 'in the white'. They have all operated well, no failure to function or to fire, and once you get your 'hold' correct, staying in the black is no problem.

    I would jump on the 148.00......ENJOY

    The dead givaway on the refurbished pieces is the finish. If they are blued, they have been refinished. Origonals will have the gray/green finish.

    So there's really no way to tell if it's a refurb or if it's unissued? It really looks brand new, no signs of ever being fired. From your opinion though, it'll be mine by the end of the weekend. [:D]
