WTK- WWII buffs - need to ID this gun carrier?

please look at auction # 38407131 and tell me what I have and a value so I can list it here. the only markings I can still make out are the word universal (I think) and then a couple of other words that are faded too bad to read. thanks for your help.

  Well....obviously looks like some kind of rifle carry/shipping case. Mabye for an MG of some sort? I would guess mabye a M1919/A6, but honestly I have no clue.

  Looks Like the vehicle mount for M1 Garand or Carbine, would need to see more metal and less canvas
