Gun lock off gun
I was wondering if someone could tell me how to get a gun lock off my trigger .My wife was cleaning and somehow misplaced my key ring that has keys for my guns on them.It is getting close to deer season and I don't want to wait until last minute and try and figure this out .I would appreciatte any help anyone can give

Any locksmith can use a blank to make you a new set of keys without damaging the lock. HINT: Call ahead and let him know you're bringing a locked gun into his shop!
Bolt cutters will work as an alternative but you need to be careful as you don't want to damage your gun.

You don't say what firearm or lock you have. Recently had four firarms brought in that had locks on them, no key. Simply got the same model lock off the shelf and used a key from that, no problem. If you have a cable type lock, simply cut the cable. Or as suggested, go to a locksmith.
It is not a bad idea to have an extra key stashed away in a place that only you know about.0 -
Like RJ Snow said, it's surprising how many locks one key will fit on most of these locks.

If it's a Master Trigger Lock that completely encompasses the trigger guard, I think you may want to call Master.
If a cable lock, I bet you could dremmel it right off or use a set of bolt cutters.
