3 screw w/o conversion

How rare are these without the transfer bar conversion?

Does it make them more "collectible" ?

If it moves, salute it. If it doesn't move, pick it up. If you can't pick it up, paint it.

  They are getting harder to find but are still out there. To be collectible they need to be in excellent condition, in the box with low serial numbers. They were made up to about 72. The one in the photo is in good but used condition and would be sold as a shooter.

  that looks like a 6 1/2" 357mag which if it is was made around 1966, as just a shooter WITHOUT any box or manual its worth around $250- 275 .... do not send it in to Ruger for the conversion as that will father reduce its value , these are good guns , just don't carry it with all 6 chambers loaded , if its looking for a new home , drop me an email

  They are definately more desirable without the conversion,and it's actually the original parts that bring the premium these days.
