Value P38 mag, Nazi issue?
Found a Nazi-marked P38 magazine in a large lot of ammo I purchased Monday. Condition VG or better - virtually no wear, spring is very strong, a few light eruptions of rust spots under the blue. "WaA 135" production code. Any idea of the value?

Search auction #37992076, mag marked WaA135. Current bid is $21.00, reserve not met. Auction #37991929, mag marked "jvc", which is also Nazi markings, has a starting bid of $.01 w/reserve and no bids.
I am in the market for a spare mag and am following these auctions.

dolfan, thanks for the heads-up on the auctions. This seller is looking for something over $50 based on the bids which did not meet the reserve on prior listings. I also looked on Another Auction site as well as my "favorite" flea market by the bay. Looks like the standard asking price is somewhere north of $50 for mags with such markings and perhaps not in as good condition. I probably have this sold privately, but if I put it up for auction, it will be on GB with none of the reserve BS and I will notify you privately if your eMail link is active.

Your magazine is proper for a Mauser coded byf pistol. In the condition you stated, anywhere from $25 to $45 would buy it.
