VALUE- 1973 Browning Citori???

Had an option to buy one today, just curious if someone could give me a ballpark value. Condition 97%, he wanted me to make an offer and I had no clue on value.

Any help appreciated.

    If you had the option to bid on a Citori, in 97% condition, buy it if you can get it for anything under $700. If it is a 12gauge, with 30 or 32 inch barrels, with a high rib, it is probably a trap gun, and worth at least 1K. Any other configuration is worth a little less than that, but definitely worth looking at for 3what ever purchase you might be interested in.
    Can't go wrong purchasing any Browning, as long as it is in the condition you describe.
