Beta-c drums for ak-47 ?
I was told the other day, that they have started making Beta-c drums for ak`s and other weapons besides AR-15, MP-5, anyone have any knowledge of this? Thanks in advance!!!!

I heard that they will be making drums for .308 weapons such as the HK91 and FAL, I hadn't heard anything about AK's

Well here is the link to their new products http://www.betaco.com/newproducts.asp. Did you see the weight on the loaded .308 10.5lbs [:0][:0][:0], the .223 is only 4.6lbs. The AK would be ok, but there are enough of the drums out there for half the price that you wont see a beta soon. I would like to see a .45 cal one though, but I am sure the weight would be huge on that one too. I think I am going to have to get some clear covers though.

The 7.62x39 round has a heavy taper to it and a larger case diameter, I'd be hesitant to attempt retooling a .223 mag to fit it. Get an AK drum, I got a bunch or the 75rd and 100rd drums and they are a lot less expensive than the C-mag. Or get a .223 AK and an AR mag adapter

KJ, my bad... this Beta would be for a 223 Norinco, I can't find a drum that fits ( in 223) I plenty of 75's for the 7.62, 223 ak mags are kinda high, so I want a Drum or Beta for 223. If anyone has one let me know, the one on GB wont fit, mag body was to wide( might be for Galil, or Norinco is odd size not sure) any help! thanks again 0 -

hey king joey id like that info if you find it to i have a milled bulgy .223 that i want to hook up

im gonna get the steel drums for the 7.62's i have
but there is nothing for my .223 and 5.45 AK's
also i raised the issue on AK47.net,.. and alot of guys there scoffed at the idea of a beta for AK's,....but i would love to see them for the 5.56/.223 and 5.450 -

$#!+,.. for that price i can buy a beta and a bulgy waffel mag, chop it all up and make it work.
thats the draw back to my .223 AK,..mags are a bee-otch to find,..
if you do make a few and need a tester to give them a good shake down ill be glad to help.0 -
