NEED HELP WITH REMINGTON SPORTSMAN

I JUST GOT A REMINGTON SPORTSMAN AND NEED ANY INFO I CAN GET WITH REGARD TO THE FRICTION RING AND POSITIONING OF THE FRICTION RINGS FOR LIGHT OR HEAVY LOADS. THE ONLY SCHEMATICS I FOUND ONLINE ARE VAGUE AND DON'T ACCURATLY DEPICT THE PARTS ON THE GUN. MY MAIN CONCERN IS THE FRICTION RINGS.THANKS FOR ANY HELP.

  Hi I have a 20 ga sportman.i have the friction ring steel next to the barrel with taper up.then steel with brass frition piece on top of spring.this is for light loads.for heavy it should be same as browning = spring friction ring taper up then steel with brass frition piece then barrel.thanks hedge
