7.62x54r Romak any good?
Anybody had any experince with the "romack" 7.62x54r sniper rifles?

i have the romanian psl,..exact same as the romak III, and that other model,..there are all just AK's on steoroids(Dragunov's are diff.) 
pretty nice rifle,. it should come with a 4x scope and cheap low gr. ammo is everywhere. and is deffinatly one of my keepers,.

Never will compare to American standards for accuracy. That people call them a "sniper rifle: is a shame. They were never intended to be a sniper's rifle. They were intended to extend the range of the average commie peasant infantry squad to about 600 yards. If you want a "sniper rifle" with that stopping power, buy precision bolt, or at least a worked up M1A/M14 styled rifle.

I was thinking about grabbing one and was just wondering about the reliability,accuracy etc.. How hard is to clean? Also,do they come with english versions of the manuals,or any manuals at all? (I have about half a ton of that ammo around here somewhere, and it's taking too long to burn it up in my M39's,91/30's,M44's....) 0 -
it has the the same super duper kick @$$ reliability of any ak,.
as far as accuracy its not bad at all most gun snobs scoff at it but i can consistantly get kill shots on my burglar/terrorist targets on a 600yd range,.if i actually took my time and used proper mechanics i would do better.,..mostly accuracy depends on the shooter
cleaning is easy just like a ak,..but not all that nessary,. i clean mine about ever 6 months,....
it should come with a manual,. and it should be in english,., i would look around for a newer 8x-12x scope for it,..i have a 8x from kacklina(sp?)optics and it does ok
you know i love my mosins,..i dont mind the slow reloads,..but after about 100 through my 38 or 44 im done,. your love the 10rd mags and the fact its a autoloader.
if you reload your 7.62x54r ive got a recipe for ya somewhere

Super reliable, average accuracy, and a blast to shoot, breaks down like an AK so it's overly simple. The scope comes with a manual in russian and english, mine also came with a test target and QA acceptance stamps in the russian scope manual, I love to shoot mine,and as long as i'm
having fun, who cares....
P.S. Go for the 8X scope, it's worth the extra $$$0
