would like value and correct model name
Several years ago I bought a Savage 116 300 Win. mag ,,,This rifle is synthetic stocked, barrel and action all stainless, the barrel however is fluted and there is an adjustable muzzlebrake. At the time I purchased this rifle I also bought a Simmons Aetec 2.8 X 10 in matt silver. I would like to know the full model name as I know there are several prefex's that follow the 116, and since the rifle has never had a round chambered nor has it been outside except for the trip home from the gun shop, I would also like to know what it might be worth should I decide to list it. Any Information would be greatly appreciated.

Sandwarrior ,,,You're correct about the F,,as I do remember seeing it pictured back then but I don't recall it being a part of the weather warrior series,,,I don't think that classification was listed back then. 0 -
Sandwarrior
I stand corrected, you were right about the weather warrior classification,, this was one of the first in that series and I have found out that it is Model 116 FSAK,,,,,Now if I could just get some idea of the value. Thanks for your reply.[:I]0 -
cuffem,
New in the box those are running around $450-480.00 or so. You should be able to sell it that way as you have not chambered a round in it and left any visible brass marks on the rifle.
I think Savage is about the best deal going for a shooter but they will for a long time have the stigma that they won't bring in as much as a Winchester, Remington or other big name. -Good luck
