Current AK availability

A friend of mine is looking for AK's and since norinco's aren't easy to find anymore he's looking at the Romaninan/Bulgarian/Polish etc. Any of these that are better (or worse) than the others? Gun show is in town this weekend so we're gonna go poke around tomorrow.

    I've had several different mfg's of AK's in my gunsafe at one point or another and I've come to the conclusion that an AK, is an AK, is an AK, is an AK. They've all worked as advertised, all worked the same, and they've always worked (the trademark of the AK is that it ALWAYS works). Just my experience, take it for what it's worth.

    Of new AK's, yes, Bulgies are best. If you go Romanian, get a SAR, not a WASR.
