Colt 1877 help needed

Seems the loading gate broke on my .41 cal 1877. I need to find one and a set of instructions for repairing it. I am posting this in the ATE & GD forums because of the rarity of the parts needed and expertise of both groups of people here. Any help will be greatly appreciated. BTW tried Numrich already.

  Numrich has a parts diagram on their web site, www.e-gunparts.com In the diagram, it appears that you must remove the grip and the trigger guard to get to the screw to release the spring and catch for the loading gate. It appears to come out of the bottom. Chech the diagram and see what you think. They may not have the part, but the diagram is pretty good.

  You may also wish to take a look at: www.coltparts.com
  The loading gate on the 1877 has a *batch number* on them
  and not the serial no. Best of luck, 101
