    Where can I find a diagram for this rifle? I have new seals and valve to install but afraid to try without some instructions. I'm not a kid, just 82 and still like to shoot it in my back yard.

    Mine is a Model 317, and it was purchaed new in 1968. Yours may be a slightly older version of that Model, or it could be the same.

    Thanks Bert - I've been on the lookout for the model I had or one much like it. They don't turn up at the gun shows here but I continue to look. BlueBook does not go back very far - only shows the Mod 347 as the pre-Sheridan Benjamin .177 rifle. I guess a clean one would be in the $100 - $125 range?

    You had to love to shoot when I was a kid of 8 or 9 with my skinny little arms straining on the third stroke on that pump handle while the rear sight dug into my boney little chest. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday afternoon though.

    I have mine valued at $140, but I might be on the low side due to the condition it is in (95+%). They are indeed very hard to find anymore. The Model 317 has an adjustable rear sight... does the old one you own have that feature? If you would like to see photos of my Benjamin air rifle, send me an email through the GB contact.

    I have one similar to your description. Model 310, marked BB calibre. Has pump lever linked to pump rod. Earlier models had pump ronly, moving straight in and out below parallel to bore. There is an airgun forum that may be helpful: http://www.network54.com/Forum/50544
