Redfield 3/4" Scope?
Has anyone ever seen a 3/4" tube on a scope before. I just bought a little .22 that has a nice 4x Redfield Scope with a 3/4" tube. Were these common in the past? Are they worth anything? The rifle has two barrels, the one with the Redfield and then another with a Bushnell. I would like both barrels to have the same kind of scope, so I'm considering either finding another 3/4" Redfield, or selling it and putting Burris on both barrels. Any suggestions.

Redfield marketed such a scope from 1965 to 1973. Some were made by Redfield for Browning and sold under the Browing name. They are good scopes and in Stroebels book, Old Rifle Scopes, the 4X is listed at a value of $100-$150. 0 -
Lots of early Weavers were 3/4 inch tubes. I'm sure several other manufacturers also used 3/4 inch tubes. I seem to remember 7/8 inchers too.
