Shooting Glasses Shotgun

Hello:
Saw the post on shooting glasses. Can you folks give me good, better, best; and relative price ranges. Especially interested in moderate price range pair for shooting sporting clays.
BobSki's take made a lot of sense (as it usually does). One more thing have you guys ever wondered what it would cost to get the information we get here for free? BobSki and a dozen others could (and probably should) write books about what they know. I've asked dozens of questions, and obtained a wealth of information. Just wanted to say thanks to those who are willing to share their knowledge!

  Check some of the sellers like Cabela's, and so on for shooting glasses. Some of the things worn by competition shooters are fairly high end, like $100 and up, which is about what very good quality sunglasses cost. Mine are prescription, no-line bifocals, that darken in strong sunlight, and cost near $500. You probably do not want to do that!

  I have used Decot Hy-Wyde glasses for about 35 years. Yhey are designed so that you can interchange lens. Different colors for different conditions. I get them from Alan Lehman Optics in Phoenix. Get a good pair of shooting glassses, not the 20 dollar junk you see advertised.

  decot hy-wydes have my vote too. i second it.
  if you want to go the econo route, try tasco glasses.
  btw, thanks for the compliment. its rare indeed and greatly appreciated.
  one note on interchangable lens' though....im too lazy, i just bought 3 sets so i wouldnt have to put my fingers all over them in a panic to make it to the shoot off field, fumbling around trying to change out tubes, glass lenses, wheres my ammo? where my..? this that ...ehhhh, just have 3 full pr marked with tape on the case: morning, afternoon, and evening and just grab and go.
  if you want to go budget, remington glasses work in a pinch too. heres a pic of my old tascos. old tascos can be i.d.'ed by screws holding in the lenses. new ones are friction fit (pop in and out) yellow ones on right are old ones i use for evening and the multi tascos on left are my primaries. (ive never used the red and dont like em anyway) it makes the targets look too sur-real. i wish i had clears instead. clears are good for night shooting but make it all look too dreary. at least yellows brighten things up.

  Here are mine, they can be had non-prescription. One thing I really like is there is zero distortion near the edges.

  Bushnells are the best buy for the money. Saved me from loosing an eye twice too, so I may be kinda partial to em.
