What kinds of mags will fit my springfield 84c?

Encyclopedia Of Modern Firearms by Brownell shows the magazine to have Savage part number 4-735 for the 5 round magazine and 85-735 for the 10 round magazine. The same magazines fit Savage Models 4C, 4CD and 4D, also Stevens and Sringfield Models 84C, 84CD, 84D and 56C. I realize this doesn't exactly answer your question but it may help you find one.

the generic Savage magazines sold by Brownell's will work.

Is is possible to put a scope on that rifle? I have a Steven's 84c that looks identical. It was dad's. He passed on 14 years ago. I recently decided to get it out of the closet and reblue the barrel and find a magazine for it. Think a scope would be good for the daughter to use while shooting it. Thanks.
