interchangable?

do the springfield 944 and savage 949 .410 shotgun barrels interchange? I have a Savage Westpoint model 949 and I'm looking for a barrel. it has been suggested to me that Springfield's 944 may be the same. can the experts help me here? THANKS! Ickyp
