Kimber conversions for .22 and .17mach2

This might sound stupid but....

I have seen the Kimber .17cal MACH2 and the Kimber .22cal and they look the same - I have seen the 22cal parts kit to convert a .45 but not the .17 cal.

Anyone know if they make or will make the .17 conversion? for either the 45 or the 22?

I would think the 22 to 17 would just be a barrel change and that could be done.

I am just thinking a three in one gun could be fun.

  I haven't seen barrels only for the Kimber conversion. The Mach2 develops quite a bit more energy than the 22LR, so the conversion kit might include a different recoil spring as well. 10/22 conversions to the Mach2 not only require a new barrel but a new bolt handle that has more mass than the standard bolt handle to soak up some of the excess recoil.

  Well, it looks like I going to get my first $1000 gun by the time it is finished. Darn I searched everywhere, even buy from Midway but did noy look there.
