H&R Trapper Model .22

Can anyone tell me if the H&R Trapper Model .22 came in any variations? I've only ever seen the one standard model. Years of production? Did they come with an owner's manual and if so, anyone willing to photocopy one for me (I'll reimburse & include postage of course) Thanks much. TrapperMatt

  There was a 10" barrel version but not called Trapper, maybe Hunter. Exactly the same but for longer barrel. I have several early H&R .22s and my like-new Trapper is my favorite.

  Gun Traders Guide: 6 inch octagon barrel.  Discontinued prior to 1942.

  No variations.  6" octagon bbl., 7 shot cyl., blued, checkered walnut grips.  One source notes it as model 722 but were not marked as such.  Made 1924-1941.  Similar to Hunter model.  My Trapper is well-worn.

  I believe that all the model 1906 parts will interchange since the trapper was made from it.
