Is it possible to swap an existing P2000 LEM/DAO V2 trigger to a V3 version (DA/SA)?

    I picked up one of these the other day and when I got home and started going through the paperwork I found out it was made in 2003 and is labeled as a "P2000 V3".

    Can some one tell me what the "V3" means? [?] I've been to "HKPRO"
    and couldn't find anything.

    It doesn't have the LEM trigger mod or a decock button.

    PS: I like this gun, it fits my hand, has the slide release and mag release on the right side which is important to me as I'm a southpaw.

    Shoots a good group without too much recoil. [:)]

    Try hk-usa.com and email that question using the "contact" link. Probably denotes type of safety, decocker or such. I've been looking at p2000 but don't have the $$ yet. Glad to hear you like it so much. Please post the answer when you have it.

    That's a good idea ripley, I've got the same question on the HK weapons forum and if I don't get an answer there I'll do just that.

    (When in doubt go to the source, why didn't I think of that)

    Ripley16 I sent an e-mail to HK with my question, we'll see how long it takes to get a reply.

    Fluw, thanks for the link it answered most of my questions. It indicates the V3 as being SA/DA with a decocker which mine doesn't have, is mine a single action only gun?
