Gunsmithing School in Oregon

I was wondering if anyone knew of any Gunsmithing schools in Oregon. I have searched the web quite a bit, but all I seem to find is telecourses and the Colorado School of Trades. I was hoping for something a bit closer to home than that. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    i'm looking for a gunsmithing school in oregon. i know their was a question about it in 2005 but i was hoping something might have changed and their were more or something closer.

    These are the only gunsmithing schools left in the U.S. currently. Most of the programs are full right now, so plan ahead because you can't just call right before the semester and expect to get in. I left Modern and Harcourt in but they are distance learning or correspondence courses and not recommended. Hands on is a must.

    I'm not aware of any programs at this school right now but it does allow for the question of "Do they teach machine shop and such?" You will have to have machining and CAD as well as your basic liberal arts core courses so you could look into that up there where it would be less expensive and make sure that the courses will transfer.

    I used to hear of a gunsmithing school in Ashland Oregon, you may want to check on that. It may no longer be around as this was many years ago. I hear the one in Trinidad Colorado is top notch.[;)]
