BPS Trigger?

Can the trigger on my Browning BPS Deer gun be adjusted or replaced? The pull on it feels like 10 lbs!! I know 99% of Bps are used as shotguns but as a sabot shooter I can hear the springs load up as the trigger travels a mile. The trigger on an A-Bolt shotgun I tried was as smooth as a fine rifles. Any Help will make me shoot this gun (alot)better. Thanks
