I own two of them and would buy another if I needed another scope. I especially like the way they gather light on a cloudy day. It rains a lot in Western WA. and the rainguard works in our mild climate. Although I don't have any experience with the colder conditions of Alaska, a fella in a local shop saw a salesman with an elite 3200 and a leopold XII in an ice chest and the bushnell came out clearer than the leopold. I know that's heresy, and you may kill me now, but the guy swore it was true.

The rain gaurd is great. The ones with the Firefly crosshairs the crosshairs are too wide and you tend to loose game in thick cover. I missed 2 whitetail because i was tring to look around the crosshairs.

awesome scopes, very clear. the coating beads the water so fine you can see right through it. great scopes for the money.

I have a Elite 3200 firefly. I have hunted with various scopes and this has to be the best in foul conditions. I can't explain how it works, you can hunt in cold conditions and purposely breathe on the lens and it will fog over, but look thru it and it is clear. I would recommend it!!!!!!!! Thanks Mac[8D] 0
