Found out whats wrong
with my yugo SKS not cycling all the way and the bolt getting stuck.
The gas valve assembly is leaking. I took solder and wrapped the tip of the valve body and reassembled then took a torch to it trying to seal up the valvebody. Worked great and cycled fine for 20 rds or so. Then came loose and started leaking again. Any ideas on how to seal it up better. If it only lasts 100rds that's fine, I just want to stop having to smack the bolt with a block to get it loose and get it to cycle. I juggled the thought of rtv sealant(?). I don't care if I can't use the grenade launcher anymore.
Also anyone know why the clip that holds the pin/spring in the reciever keeps popping out?? I'll post a pic in a minute.
