stock glue

I broke a piece off my stock right at the receiver and was wondering what glue to use???? I realize the stock has to be fitted better so it doesn't happen again...

  I've had good luck with the gorrila glue and it can be sanded after it expands.

  Use Acraglas from Brownells.com, and while your at it bed the stock where it joins the receiver, with the same stuff and you problem will be solved both ways....

  Also I've had good results with Dow Corning Urethane Bond. I wanted to thin it down to work in a hypodermic needle, so tested it on some wooden tongue depressors, some thinned with acetone, some thinner than others and some original. clamped them together, let them set 3 days and they all broke beyond the glued spot.
  I can't find the stuff any more, not sure if it's still made.
  It's a lot easier to clean up after than Gorilla Glue, too.

  Used the Gorilla Glue this afternoon on one of my
  older FN 49s. Works great ... so far. In a day or
  two I'll know for sure! [8D]
