CORRECT FORESTOCK FOR A-O THOMPSON A3? photo

I recently acquired a nice Auto-Ordnance .22rf Thompson 1927A3 with a horizontal forestock. (See photo) I was told by the seller that this was original equipment, not the vertical forestock. I was told by another collector of .22rf military look-alikes that the vertical forestock is correct. I did not get an instruction book with the gun so don't know what it indicates is correct. Hopefully one of you folks out there can enlighten me. Thanks in advance. Shansei45

  Looks correct ot me and I have the .45, call Kahr Arms and they will send you some documents or go online and download the PDF manual.

  THANKS CHGOTHNDER for the info. However, Kahr never manufactured the A3. The manual I got from them didn't list the A3. I too had a .45acp version of the 1927A1 and THOSE did come with the vertical forestock. I'm not familiar with the PDF download you mention. Can you tell me its website? Thanks again. Shansei45
