  cool link, thanks for the info. so the guy just put the new upper on an M-16 lower ? can non military people buy the upper ? can they buy the ammo as well ?

  Since it is semiauto, I would not see why anyone could not get it. High price though.

  this rifle doesnt seem to be the ideal sniper rifle but it looks pretty cool. i was wondering why the guys in that video werent using more traditional sniper rifles considerig they were just sitting on a roof top sniping. and i wondered who the guy shooting was with. was he a blackwater guy or marines or what ?

  They were probably using that rifle because that's what they had. I'm sure they considered that if their building might get overrun then a bolt action long gun would have been a liability instead of an assault rifle. Probably had to take it for mission adaptability.

  I don't know the military model number but it is a AR10 .308 cal.
