Reinforce Shotguns forearms???

Have an old Rem 1100 and Jap Browning A5. Both are known to crack for separate reasons but what would be the best thing to reinforce them so they dont crack? I was thinking Fiberglass, or would a bedding compound like arcaglass work better than the fiberglass mating and resin?

  Hello one reason the forearm on a Browning A5 tends to crack is the operator does not read directions about how to tighten the Mag tube nut. If done correctly "backing off a few clicks it will save the wood.
